Cerezo Osaka announced the agreement has been reached to sign Sapporo Otani High School midfielder Musashi Oyama today.
Oyama, who is expected to graduate from high school in March, will join the team next year. His school founded the club in 2009 so only has a short history, and he is the first player who signs a contract with a professional club.
Although Oyama may not be well-known among football fans (including myself), he has earned a high reputation for his speed, which makes manager Kiyoshi Okuma consider a possibility to use him as a fullback, although it is unclear whether he continues taking charge of the team next season.
