It seems Yoon Jong-hwan will rotate his squad in cup games this year too as he decided to give the players who started against Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo on Friday a rest and instead bring different players to Thailand for the ACL group stage match agianst Buriram United, according to Sports Nippon.

The team already arrived in Thailand to prepare for Tuesday’s match yesterday.

Although not all details are revealed, vice captain Daichi Akiyama is likely to wear the armband. Young players like Hiroto Yamada and Mizuki Ando, as well as experienced player like Teruyuki Moniwa, are with the team in Thailand and Sports Nippon suggests a possibility that Yamada, who just turned professional after finishing his time at Cerezo Osaka U-18, may be picked for the starting eleven.
