Most of Japanese main sports newspaper have reported that Yoon, whose contract with the club will expire at the end of the season, is very likely to leave the club and the club are looking for his replacement. Sports Hochi said Tokyo Verdy manager Miguel Angel Lotina was considered as one of the candidates.

Yoon firstly responded to the question by saying “maybe you should ask the club rather than me” in a joking manner, but then he answered: “There are no talks yet. Just said ‘after the season.’ I’m not sure what will happen in the future but as a professional, I’m going to do what I need to do and fight until the end.”
