Thai international Thitipan set to join Cerezo Osaka on loan

Thai international midfielder Thitipan Puangchan is set to join Cerezo Osaka on a one-year loan from their partner club Bangkok Glass FC next season.

This was first reported by Thai media outlet Siamsport yesterday, and confirmed by Bangkok Glass chairman on their official livestream today.

Chaowat Veerachart played at Cerezo Osaka U-23 this season on loan from Bangkok Glass FC, but it was already announced that he would return to the Thai side after the 2018 season. Bangkok Glass, which will be renamed to BG Pathum United, will play in the second division of the Thai League next season.

Thitipan Puangchan is a 25-year-old midfielder who joined Bangkok Glass this year after playing more than 140 games with Muangthong United, Suphanburi FC, and Chiangrai United. Thitipan, the biggest signing for Bangkok Glass according to Football Tribe, played 32 games and scored 5 goals this season according to Soccerway. He also has 18 caps with Thailand’s full national team and scored 5 goals according to Wikipedia.

Cerezo, in return, will loan them a defender whose name is not disclosed yet.
