The most attendance in a season opener was 37860, recorded when Cerezo played the season’s first home game against Gamba Osaka in 2010.
Without a doubt, one of the reasons behind this fast speed of sales is Vissel Kobe’s Los Galácticos - Not just Lukas Podolski and Andres Iniesta, David Villa also joined them. What’s more, former Cerezo captain Hotaru Yamaguchi also moved to Kobe. There is no wonder why many people want to watch them at the stadium.
Cerezo vs Vissel is also the very first game of the season for the league and designated as “Friday Night J.League.” There are a lot of events scheduled to take place and as part of it, popular idol group NMB48 will visit Yanmar Stadium Nagai to perform the half time show. Somehow NMB48 used to attend the event in Avispa Fukuoka’s home game, but this will be the first time for them to work together with Osakan men’s professional football team.
