Brisbane Roar announced today that several players will leave the club following the 2018⁄19 season end. Joe Caletti, in whom Cerezo Osaka as well as local rival Gamba Osaka reportedly have an interest, is also one of those players departing the A-League side.
Joe Caletti is a 20-year-old midfielder who spent his youth career at FNSW NTC (Football New South Wales National Training Centre) and Australian Institute of Sport according to Wikipedia. He made his A-League debut with Brisbane Roar in 2017 and has played 31 games so far according to Soccerway.
Like Pierce Waring, Caletti, whose middle name is Kato, has a Japanese mother and will not be treated as a foreign player at least until he chooses either nationality.
Joe Caletti has been linked with a move to J-League sides Cerezo Osaka and Gamba Osaka, with both clubs reportedly showing interest in the young midfielder. https://t.co/dMN49JTMwk
