Cerezo Osaka to participate in the LEO PRE-SEASON CUP 2020

Cerezo Osaka usually have a training camp in Thailand from late January to early February every year. Although nothing has been announced about whether they do the same this year too, LEO, which I guess is a Thai beer brand produced by Boon Rawd Brewery, the company which also produces Singha Beer, announced that it holds a preseason tournament named LEO PRE-SEASON CUP 2020 and Cerezo Osaka’s name is included in the clubs participating in it.

In addition to 12 clubs from Thailand, including Cerezo Osaka’s partner club BG Pathum United, the emblems of the clubs from Cambodia, Laos, and Singapore can also be seen in the poster.

Actually, this is already a known fact because Phnom Penh Crown Football Club, one of the participants, posted the tournament format on their website last November. According to it, Cerezo Osaka will play from the quarterfinal which will be held on January 25.
