Lucas Mineiro is already with the team despite no announcement from the club

Posted at — Jan 25, 2020

It is already a well-known fact that Brazilian defensive midfielder Lucas Mineiro will join Cerezo Osaka after Souza decided to leave here to move to Saudi Arabia. Diario do Iguaçu, a Chapeco-based newspaper, already reported this week that Chapecoense “officially confirmed on Tuesday (21) the loan of defensive midfielder Lucas Mineiro to Cerezo Osaka.” No details have been revealed but “it was the player’s desire to transfer” according to the newspaper.

Although there has been no announcement from both clubs, he seemingly is already with the team who are undergoing a training camp in Miyazaki Prefecture now.

His agency Jeo Rafah Sports also posted an Instagram photo yesterday, indicating that Lucas Mineiro will “dispute the J-league with Cerezo Osaka in Japan” in the upcoming season.
